My Son — My Sun — has been missing since he vanished late February 2024.

His death certificate was emailed me August 23, 2024 stating Julian died 6 months earlier — the evening he was last seen on campus: February 23, 2024.

No dead body found.

They claim he reached out for help late that February, yet didn’t receive help, and vanished… leaving his phone, wallet, ID, passport and all his belongings behind and his door unlocked ❤️‍🔥

The police assumed the worst - 🖤 suicide - and searched for his body in the nearby sea, with high tech mini submarines and underwater drones. They could not find him. His friends do not understand how this could happen.

I spoke with Juju 10 days before he vanished. He was happy and excited and told me he was going out that night with the local Pride (Fri) group. He said he was very busy with finishing his university degree: Computer Programming Engineer. He was working part time as a Teacher Assistant at the university, volunteering with youth groups, organizing political activities — while leading their final student project, updating LinkedIn and finding a good job, a new place to live, and take care of his health and finances.

A lot. But he was confident and excited about graduating :) We talked for an hour — love and encouragement 💛🤍💜🖤 Then a few text messages and emails the next several days. All good. Then Monday February 26 he didn’t show up for their student group meeting, something that never had happened before. They thought he might have overslept. In the afternoon they went to look for him at his apartment. He was not there, but his phones and computer were there, his wallet and passports. And a handwritten love-message to his father, mother and younger brother Finn. Written on a small yellow postit note found in his apartment.

The rest is a Mystery.

He may have escaped into the region’s forests and mountains looking for help and answers, or looking for FREEDOM from obligations and stress — or hiding from hateful anti-‘commiehomo’ stalkers.

The bling-bling cross I am wearing in the photo on the homepage, now symbolizes Jay’s LOVE for all who knew him and loved him when he walked among us. His kind and friendly personality and reputation as a much loved student and friend — in Bjerkreim, Porsgrunn, Tønsberg and Ålesund in Norway, and in San Diego, Chicago, Urbana, USA — He remains in our memories and in our hearts. I see you :)

This is the playground of a pre-school right outside July’s apartment building. He walked by this every day.

In Norway, children are taught that you will get help (from strangers who are government employees) if you ever need help. That the police will protect you and that doctors will help you feel better.

True only if you belong to the upper class, but not if you are deemed of lesser status. Even though they are paid to help any citizen in need of help, they won’t. They abandon you to your own. Brutal to witness.

In this country you are left to help yourself through your darkest night. Groups on social media and volunteer phone lines are our only help. Such is the flip side of socialism gone capitalist. Norway’s government officials have privatized much of the tiny country’s public transportation, child care, elder care and premium healthcare is available to the rich via private health insurance. A special kind of corruption exists in the ‘comraderie’ of 1 million government employees of this very small nation in the far far North in Europe — Norway: 5.7 million inhabitants. 1.1 million minors under 18.

July was active in many groups and organizations and an outspoken pro-freedom activist in the political scene. Many creative Pen-names and aliases online.

Juju created a new MasterMind App using his phone to create the program during Christmas 2023 at home in Tønsberg. The App allows a single player to play alone with the physical game. Brilliant!
