I bought my first APPLE shares in 1997 at $10 per share.

I bought APPL shares while living in Chicago in the late summer of 1997. Princess Diana had just died in that tunnel in Paris.

I moved to Silicon Valley around Thanksgiving. I lived on Elsinore Court in Palo Alto and walked by Steve Job’s house on my way to work on University Avenue, sharing offices with Momentum perfecting their early GPS software. Stanford was not far away. I went to a talk by Apple Chief Evangelist Guy Kawasaki not long after I arrived in Palo Alto, November 1997.

And here we are, many many years later… the World now very concerned about the state of affairs: Violence, wars, poverty, extreme wealth for a very few, pedofiles and rapists roaming free, mass shootings increasing… along with a slowly dying hope for a better world for our children.

The World is on Fire.

Children are not safe in their homes or in their schools.

Females are not safe in their homes or in their work place.

Workers worldwide are underpaid.

The People are hurting.
